It is everything cotton rope shouldn't be - which is why it is being manufactured exclusively for bird  toys.

It is short fibered and, therefore, pulls apart easily, which will minimize the risk of entanglement.
If you pull on the fibers from the ends or shafts, you will get cotton puffs instead of long threads.

Due to the fact that  we are having  such problems getting  the Supreme rope we will only  carry  this product  by the spool.
The supplier simply is not producing much of this  rope,  ( giving us different reasons  all the time)  and  I will post  it when I have it 
available.  But last year we were only able to get like 10 spools  for the whole year.
